West Coast Emergency Medical Services (WCEMS) is California's leading special event medical provider. Founded in March of 2009, by 2 longtime EMS professionals, WCEMS has become one of the most diverse EMS providers in the region serving all of California with offices in both Southern California (Whittier, CA) as well as Northern California (San Mateo, CA) and additional services extending to Nevada, Oregon, Washington, and Arizona.
WCEMS offers experienced, licensed, and insured EMS professionals to provide standby services for events of all types. Our medical staff is primarily comprised of licensed EMT's and Paramedics*, however we also have MD's, Nurses, Athletic Trainers, and Lifeguards available as needed. All medical supplies and equipment are included with medical standby services. (some exceptions apply) We also have a fleet of specialized vehicles for response at events, we utilize custom built mini 4x4 ambulances, golf carts, rugged Kawasaki Mule units, Segways, Mountain Bikes, quads, and even Sea Doo units for water-based events.
*All EMS personnel provide service at a Basic Life Support (BLS) level of care. Individual licensure does NOT dictate the level of care available to clients, event participants, or the public.
